Integrating the AMIKEO digital tablet in ESMS to support people with mental and/or cognitive disabilities
Course duration
2 days or 12h divided into 4 half-days of 3h each
Target audience
Professionals working with people with autism, cognitive disorders and/or intellectual development disorders in a medical-social establishment equipped with the AMIKEO solution.
Prerequisites
The trainee must have acquired basic knowledge of how to support people with autism, cognitive disorders and/or intellectual development disorders.
He/she must support people with mental and/or cognitive disabilities within a structure equipped with the AMIKEO solution.

Contents
- Discovering tactile interfaces and the advantages and limitations of digital technology, as well as recommendations for use.
- Getting started with the AMIKEO tablet
- Discover AMIKEO applications by theme: handling, content creation, pedagogical methods of implementation
- Getting to grips with the AMIKEO cloud
- Select applications and develop an individual digital usage program
- Integrate the AMIKEO solution into the school’s educational project
Pedagogical objectives
- Learn how to use the AMIKEO tablet and configure its applications
- Identify the advantages and limitations of the tablet in supporting people with mental and/or cognitive disabilities, and possible adaptations.
- Use the AMIKEO tablet in line with the objectives of the personalized project and prepare the project for the use of a digital tool within the facility.
- Master the process of building an individual digital usage program

Access to this training is generally initiated by the establishment.
A discussion with our teams will enable us to analyze needs, adjust content to trainee profiles, check pre-requisites and, if necessary, identify situations requiring adaptations.
Dates and times will be determined by mutual agreement between the parties involved.

Alternating theoretical content, presentation of use cases, practical exercises and hands-on experience
Theme 1: Learning
- Presentation of AMIKEO applications Puzzle, Autimo, ClassIt and Social Handy and their settings
- In which contexts, for which profiles and in which ways to use these applications
- Case studies (videos and testimonials)
- Manipulations, creation of educational content, practical exercises and feedback sessions
Theme 2: Time reference points
- Presentation of the theme and HAS recommendations for good practice
- Presentation of AMIKEO applications Time In, Sequences and Calendar and their settings
- In which contexts, for which profiles and in which ways to use these applications
- Case studies (videos and testimonials)
Manipulations, creation of educational content, practical exercises and feedback sessions
PROGRAM - HALF DAY 3 (3h)
MODULE 2 – Part 2

Theme 3: Communication
- Presentation of the theme and HAS recommendations for good practice
- Presentation of AMIKEO IFeel, Voice and Logiral and their settings
- In which contexts, for which profiles and in which ways to use these applications
- Presentation of use cases (videos and testimonials) and scientific studies
- Manipulations, creation of educational content, practical exercises and feedback sessions
MODULE 3
The AMIKEO Cloud
Cloud presentation: dashboard, Library, caregiver accounts, how-to sheets and tutorials – Content sharing

Transfer content to AMIKEO library and tablets
