    • Unique device identification

      AMIKEO may track the User by recording a unique identifier of the User’s device for analysis purposes or to record the User’s preferences.

    • User identification by means of a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID)

      AMIKEO may track Users by storing what is known as a Unique Universal Identifier (or UUID) for analysis purposes or to memorize User preferences. This identifier is generated when the Application is installed. It persists between each launch and update of the Application, but is deleted when the User deletes the Application. Reinstallation generates a new UUID.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in the case of Usage Data, collected automatically when you use AMIKEO.
Unless otherwise specified, all Data requested by AMIKEO are mandatory and their absence may make it impossible for AMIKEO to provide the Services. In the event that AMIKEO specifies that certain Data are not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate them without causing consequences on the availability or functioning of the Service.
Users who have doubts about mandatory Personal Data are invited to contact the Owner.
Any use of Cookies – or other tracking tools – by AMIKEO or by the owners of third-party services used by AMIKEO is intended to provide the Service requested by the User, in addition to the other purposes described in this document and in the Cookie Policy. Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data obtained, published or communicated through AMIKEO.

How and where Data is processed

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the Data. Data processing is carried out using computers or IT tools, following procedures and organizational methods closely related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Owner, the Data may be accessible, in certain cases, to certain categories of persons in charge of the operation of AMIKEO (administration, sales, marketing, legal department, system administration) or to external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, courier services, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) designated, where applicable, as Subcontractors by the Owner. An updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.

Data is processed at the Owner’s headquarters and at all other locations where the parties responsible for processing are located. Depending on the User’s location, data transfers may involve the transfer of the User’s Data to a country other than his or her own. Unless otherwise specified in this document, Personal Data is processed and kept for as long as required for the purpose for which it was collected and may be kept longer due to an applicable legal obligation or on the basis of the User’s consent.

Purposes of processing

Device authorizations to access Personal Data

Depending on the User’s particular device, AMIKEO may require certain permissions to allow access to the User’s Device Data as described below. By default, these authorizations must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once authorization has been given, it may be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may consult the device settings or contact the Owner at the contact details provided herein.
The exact procedure for controlling application permissions may depend on the User’s device and software. Please note that revocation of these permissions may affect the proper functioning of AMIKEO. If the User grants any of the permissions listed below, these respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e. accessed, modified or deleted) by AMIKEO.

Camera authorization

Used to access the camera or record images and videos with the device.

Storage authorization

Used to access shared external storage, including reading and adding items.

Microphone authorization

Allows access and recording of sound from the User’s device microphone.

Authorization to access the Image Library

Accesses the User’s Image Library.

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes through several services:

  • Analysis

    The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze Web traffic and track changes in User behavior.

    Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) (Google Inc.)

    Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on how the Owner manages the processing of Data, (“Google”). Google uses the collected Data to track and analyze the use of AMIKEO, prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.   • Contact the User

    Contact form (AMIKEO)

    By filling out the contact form with their Data, the User authorizes the use of this information by AMIKEO for the purpose of responding to requests for information, quotations or any other request as indicated in the header of the form.

  • Registration and authentication provided directly by AMIKEO

    Registration or authentication of the User authorizes AMIKEO to identify him and gives him access to dedicated services. Personal Data is collected and stored for registration or identification purposes only. The Data collected are only those necessary to provide the service requested by Users.

    Direct registration (AMIKEO)

    The User registers by filling in the registration form and providing his Personal Data directly to AMIKEO.

  • User database management

    This type of service allows the Owner to create user profiles based on an e-mail address, personal name or other information provided by the User to AMIKEO, and to track the User’s activities through analytical features. This Personal Data may also be compared with publicly available information about the User, such as social network profiles, and used to create private profiles that the Owner may display and use to improve AMIKEO. Some of these services may also enable the sending of timed messages to the User, such as emails based on specific actions performed on AMIKEO.

    Salesforce Sales Cloud (salesforce.com, inc.)

    Salesforce Sales Cloud is a user database management service provided by salesforce.com, inc.

    Brevo marketing automation (SendinBlue SAS)

    Brevo marketing automation is a user database management service provided by SendinBlue SAS.

  • Manage contacts and send messages

    This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or any other contact details used to communicate with the User. These services may also collect data concerning the date and time the User views the message, and the time the User interacts with the message, for example by clicking on links included in the message.

    Brevo email (SendinBlue SAS)

    Brevo email is an email address management and message sending service provided by SendinBlue SAS.

  • Managing support and contact requests

    These types of services allow AMIKEO to manage support and contact requests received by email or by other means, such as the contact form.
    The Personal Data processed depends on the information provided by the User in the messages and the means used to communicate (e.g. email address).

    Zendesk (Zendesk)

    Zendesk is a support and contact request management service offered by Zendesk Inc.

  • Activity data management

    These types of services allow the Owner to use activity data collected by your device to provide specific functionality or to operate. This may include movement, heart rate, altitude change or environmental data.
    Depending on what is described below, third parties may be involved in tracking activity.
    Most devices allow the User to control which Data can be viewed or stored.

    AMIKEO uses certain activity data tracked by your device to provide specific functionality or to operate.

  • Payment management

    Unless otherwise specified, AMIKEO processes all payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means, through external payment service providers. In general and unless otherwise stated, Users are requested to provide their payment details and personal information directly to said payment service providers. AMIKEO is not involved in the collection and processing of such information: instead it merely receives notification from said payment service providers, indicating whether the payment has been completed.

    Stripe is a payment service offered by Stripe Inc.

  • Web hosting and backend infrastructure

    The purpose of these types of services is to host data and files that allow AMIKEO to operate and be distributed and to provide a ready-to-use infrastructure for specific functions or parts of AMIKEO to operate.
    Some of these services operate through geographically dispersed servers, making it difficult to determine the actual location where Personal Data is stored.

    Firebase (Firebase, Inc.)

    Firebase is a hosting and backend service provided by Google Inc.

    These types of services allow Users to interact with third-party support and feedback platforms directly from AMIKEO pages.
    If one of these services is installed, it may collect Browsing Data and Usage Data on the pages on which it is installed, even if Users do not actively use this service.

    Zendesk Widget (Zendesk)

    Zendesk Widget is an interaction service with the Zendesk support and feedback platform offered by Zendesk Inc.

  • Infrastructure monitoring

    These types of services allow AMIKEO to monitor the use and behavior of its components so that its performance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting can be improved. The question of which Personal Data will be processed depends on the characteristics and mode of implementation of these services, whose function is to filter AMIKEO’s activities.

    Crashlytics (Google Ireland Limited)

    Crashlytics is an application monitoring service offered by Google Ireland Limited.

    Logentries (RevelOps, Inc.)

    Logentries is an application monitoring service offered by RevelOps, Inc.

    New Relic (New Relic)

    New Relic is an application monitoring service offered by New Relic Inc. The way New Relic is integrated means that it filters all AMIKEO traffic, e.g. communication between AMIKEO and the User’s browser or device, while also allowing AMIKEO analytics data to be collected.

The Owner may process Personal Data relating to Users if any of the following conditions apply:

  • Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes.
  • the supply of Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User or for any pre-contractual obligation of the User;
  • processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which the Owner is subject;
  • the processing is linked to a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority vested in the Owner;
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner or by a third party.

In all cases, the Owner will be happy to help you clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Data is a legal or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.

Unless otherwise specified in this document, Personal Data is processed and kept for as long as required for the purpose for which it was collected and may be kept longer due to an applicable legal obligation or on the basis of the User’s consent.

Therefore :

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until the contract is fully performed.
  • Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained for as long as necessary to achieve those purposes. Users can find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.

The Owner may be authorized to retain Personal Data for longer whenever the User has given consent to such processing, for as long as such consent is not withdrawn. In addition, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever this is required to satisfy a legal obligation or by order of an authority. Once the retention period has expired, the Personal Data will be deleted. Consequently, the right of access, the right of erasure, the right of rectification and the right to data portability cannot be applied after the expiry of the retention period.

Users’ rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by the Owner. In particular, Users have the right to do the following, to the extent permitted by law:

  • Withdraw consent at any time. Users have the right to withdraw their consent if they have already consented to the processing of their Personal Data.
  • Oppose the processing of their Data. Users have the right to object to the processing of their Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
  • Access their Data. Users have the right to know whether Data is being processed by the Owner, to obtain information about certain aspects of the processing and to obtain a copy of the Data being processed.
  • Check and correct. Users have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and to request that it be updated or corrected.
  • Limit the processing of their Data. Users have the right to restrict the processing of their Data. In this case, the Owner will only process their Data for storage purposes.
  • Have their Personal Data deleted or erased. Users have the right to obtain the deletion of their Data from the Owner.
  • Recover their Data and have them transferred to another data controller. Users have the right to retrieve their Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, if technically possible, to have it transmitted to another data controller without hindrance of any kind.
  • File a complaint. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with their competent data protection authority.

Users also have the right to know the legal basis for transfers of Data to any foreign country and in particular to any international organization governed by public international law or created by two or more countries, such as the UN, as well as the security measures taken by the Owner to safeguard their Data.

Where Personal Data is processed in the public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in the Owner or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner, Users may object to such processing by providing a reason linked to their particular situation that should justify such objection.

However, Users should be aware that if their Personal Data is processed for direct marketing purposes, they may object to such processing at any time, free of charge and without any justification. If the User objects to the processing for prospecting purposes, the Personal Data will no longer be processed for such purposes. Any request to exercise the User’s rights may be addressed to the Owner at the contact details indicated in this document. Such requests may be exercised free of charge and will receive a reply from the Owner, providing Users with the information required by law, as soon as possible and always within one month. Any rectification or deletion of Personal Data or any limitation of processing will be communicated by the Owner to each recipient to whom the Personal Data has been communicated, where applicable, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. At Users’ request, the Owner will inform them of these recipients.

The User’s Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Owner in court or in steps that may lead to legal action resulting from improper use of AMIKEO or related Services. The User is aware that the Owner may be required to disclose Personal Data at the request of public authorities.

In addition to the information contained in this Privacy Policy, AMIKEO may provide the User with additional information and contextual information regarding particular services or the collection and processing of Personal Data.

For operation and maintenance purposes, AMIKEO and any third-party service may collect files that record interactions with AMIKEO (system logs) or use other Personal Data (such as IP address) for this purpose.

The Owner reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, at any time, by informing its Users on this page and possibly in AMIKEO or – insofar as technically and legally possible – by sending a notification to Users via the contact details available to the Owner. It is strongly recommended to consult this page frequently, referring to the date of the last modification indicated at the bottom. If the changes influence the processing activities carried out on the basis of the User’s consent, the Owner must obtain a new consent from the User where necessary.

Personal data (or Data)

Any information which, directly, indirectly or in conjunction with other information – including a personal identification number – enables a natural person to be identified or identified.

Usage data

The person using AMIKEO who, unless otherwise indicated, corresponds to the Person concerned.

Person concerned

The natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.

Subcontractor

The natural or legal person, public authority, institution or any other body that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller, as described in this privacy policy.

Data controller (or owner)

The natural or legal person, public authority, institution or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data, including security measures concerning the operation and use of AMIKEO. Unless otherwise stated, the Data Controller is the Owner of AMIKEO.

AMIKEO (or this Application)

The means by which the User’s Personal Data is collected and processed.
