Published: 06 October 2023
Officially formalized at the end of February 2016, the two players have finalized the merger of their companies in order to pool their teams, solutions and know-how. With almost 150 customer establishments and over 100,000 downloads in France and Canada, the new AUTICIEL structure has become the French leader in digital tablet solutions dedicated to autism and mental handicap.
A shared vision and complementary solutions
With the integration of Breton company EZOOTY, AUTICIEL has strengthened its offering in the field of assisted living, with the integration of three new, highly customizable applications focusing on communication, task sequencing and time management.
With
10 specialized applications in its portfolio
AUTICIEL now offers its subscribers the widest range in the sector. Flexible and customizable, this software suite embodies AUTICIEL’s desire to address a wide range of profiles (people with autism and ASD, intellectual disabilities, etc.) and to meet a multitude of needs defined at different stages of life.
Strong French presence, international ambitions
Following a number of large-scale deployments signed with several groups of medico-social establishments, this merger with a long-standing player gives AUTICIEL an extensive territorial presence in France, with over 150 customer establishments equipped with specific solutions (IME, SESSAD, FAM…). Reinforced by the new workforce resulting from the merger, AUTICIEL’s teams are aiming to double this figure in France and conquer Belgium, Switzerland and Canada, where the applications, already distributed worldwide via the stores, are now more widely used than in France.
Sarah Cherruault-Anouge, president and founder of Auticiel, comments : “This merger reinforces our strategic priority of enabling our users tobe more autonomous with highly customizable applications and tablets that meet essential needs in the field: communication, timing, social interaction. These are genuine technical aids, now recognized and covered by several Maisons Départementales des Personnes Handicapées (MDPH). “
Anthony Leforestier, former Director of Ezooty and current Managing Director of Auticiel, adds : ” With 20 years’ experience in digital solutions for the disabled, the AUTICIEL teams have unique expertise in equipment project management, training and follow-up. We support the integration and use of digital technology within medical-social establishments and families thanks to high-performance tailor-made solutions and effective support services.”
